Every day in rural communities throughout Abia State, millions of people suffer from a lack of access to clean and safe water. For school-aged people particularly, it's a burden that traps them in poverty. These children bear the burden of walking miles each day in search of water in streams and ponds, often times riddled with water borne diseases, thus increasing their vulnerabilities.

Ogwuanyim Foundation recognises the imperative for access to clean and potable water and appreciates that access to water is foundational to development, hence Ogwuanyim's supply of clean borehole water to its immediate community.
