Ogwuanyim Foundation Commiserates with Assault Victim, Urges Focus on Healing and Education
The President and Founder of Ogwuanyim Foundation, Barr. Chijioke Chuku, has extended heartfelt sympathy to the student of Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, who was reportedly assaulted by a rogue police officer. Speaking through Comrade Gerald Kanu, the Bende Local Government Coordinator of the Foundation, Barr. Chuku condemned the incident in strong terms and expressed solidarity with the victim during this deeply distressing time.
The Foundation emphasized the importance of justice, healing, and support, urging the student not to allow the trauma of the unwarranted assault to derail her educational journey. “While we recognize the emotional and psychological toll such an experience can have, we encourage her to remain focused and resilient, channeling her strength into her studies and personal growth,” Comrade Kanu stated.
Ogwuanyim Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to standing with victims of abuse and injustice, and called on relevant authorities to ensure that the perpetrator is held accountable. The Foundation also pledged to continue advocating for safer learning environments and stronger protections for young women across Abia State.
